A group from Malta visited Chaparrón for a week in relation to the fish farm project. The group included Prof. Carmelo Agius, Fr. Marcelino Micallef OFM from the Mission Fund, Michael Agius and Walter Vigar.

The new scholastic year (2009) started in mid January. The Madre Teresa College opened its doors to several students attending the kindergarthen, primary, secondary and diversified classes.
